Who Am I
I’ve worked as a sales tax consultant for more than 30 years. Early in my career, I worked with large medical facilities to reduce sales tax exposure and helped secure millions of dollars in refunds for an independent oil and gas company in the exploration and production sector.
My Experience
Over the past 15 years, I’ve spent much of my time helping startups and midmarket businesses register for sales tax in the right jurisdictions and apply the correct tax rules to their products. As states continue to seek ways to increase tax revenue, nexus rules and product taxability have become more complex. I work closely with businesses to help keep everything clear, organized, and manageable.
When Not Working
I’m married and live in the San Antonio area with my family. I have three children, three dogs, and five cats, so things stay pretty lively at home. Outside of work, I play goalie for a local beer league hockey team and play guitar in a cover band.
